Ken Rice Joins HumanTouch as Federal Account Representative

McLean, Va. (January 19, 2018) – HumanTouch, LLC, a federal IT services provider infusing innovation, leadership and the “HumanTouch” to execute the client’s mission, is pleased to welcome Ken Rice to our team as the company’s new Federal Account Representative.

“We are pleased to have Ken join the HumanTouch team,” Moe Jafari, President and CEO, said. “His 19+ years of experiences in the federal healthcare and defense markets will be invaluable to our company as we grow.”

Ken has over 19 years of contracts and program management experience in the government and in industry. He has served as contracts manager and COR at the Naval Air Warfare Center (Aircraft Division) NAWC-AD) NAS Patuxent River MD and in the private sector where he has worked for large, midsized and small business prime contractors to the Department of Defense, Department of Energy, Health and Human Services, and other agencies. He has managed contracts ranging from fixed price to cost reimbursable, providing a wide range of deliverables from professional advisory services to information technology products and services.

Ken is a US Navy veteran with 22 years of service, has a Bachelor of Science from Southern Illinois University and has a Master's in Public Administration from Florida Institute of Technology.

HumanTouch Implements Web- and Phone-based Ethics Hotline

HumanTouch, LLC is pleased to announce the launch of its web- and phone-based Ethics Hotline.  HumanTouch’s Hotline allows employees to raise issues which could adversely affect other employees, customers or the organization.  The Hotline is a timely reporting option that provides a confidential way for employees to report potential wrongdoing outside the normal avenues of command.  The Hotline preserves confidentiality and ensures non-retaliation.  To file a report, HumanTouch employees have the option of using a secure, customized web-based reporting solution or by calling a 24/7 toll free phone number manned by live support staff.  All reports receive immediate and confidential attention from appropriate persons within the HumanTouch organization.

HumanTouch Welcomes Wendy K. LaDuca as General Counsel

McLean, Va. (August 15, 2017) – HumanTouch, LLC, which provides strategic, managerial, and tactical expertise to supplement its security, technology, and infrastructure support services, is pleased to announce that Wendy K. LaDuca has joined the HumanTouch team as its new General Counsel.

“We are excited and extremely fortunate to have Wendy join our team here at HumanTouch,” Moe Jafari, President and CEO, said.  “With her nearly 20 years of corporate legal experience, she is certainly an incredible asset to the company.”

Prior to her appointment as General Counsel at HumanTouch, Ms. LaDuca was Senior Attorney at Squire Patton Boggs (US) LLP (“SPB”), providing legal advice on complex corporate, securities and corporate governance matters to clients across various industries.  Immediately before SPB, Ms. LaDuca served as Director/Principal at Kalorama Partners, LLC, working directly under Harvey L. Pitt, 26th Chairman of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and founder of Kalorama Partners.  At Kalorama Partners, Ms. LaDuca served clients as skilled independent regulatory and corporate governance counsel in developing strategic approaches for novel, complex and unique legal problems.  Ms. LaDuca also spent several years as a corporate, securities, and mergers and acquisitions attorney at the law firms of Muldoon Murphy & Aguggia LLP (acquired by Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP) and Weil Gotshal & Manges LLP.    

Ms. LaDuca holds a B.A. from the State University of New York at Albany and a J.D. from the State University of New York at Buffalo.  She is barred in the Commonwealth of Virginia, the District of Columbia and the State of New York.
