Pega Requirements Analyst

Pega Systems Architect will have successful experience in analyzing, designing, and creating business requirements and specifications in the Pega application.  Will be a part of a multidisciplinary team that is supporting the full Pega application lifecycle.  Pega Requirements Analyst will translate a variety of high level requirements into project documentation that may be leveraged for Pega development and applications that meet business requirements.  Requirements Analysts will translate across stakeholders, business users, and technical teams across various functional groups.

Pega Requirements Analyst will Apply Pega 7 requirements and design principles and best practices on projects.  Other responsibilities may include:

•           Leading the business team in gathering requirements and choosing the best way to implement requirements leveraging the Pegasystem software and DCO capabilities

•           Understanding business process and business requirements of the customers and translating them to requirements artifacts such as BRD/Functional specifications/User stories

•           Helping to insure that the requirements management and facilitation best practices are adhered to – including management of artifacts through traceability, version control and change control

•           Helping to document business rules and assisting with work type structure from the perspective of the business needs

•           Designing and configuring rules and flows and assisting with the draft user interface and draft process flow development

•           Effectively communicating with internal teams and clients to deliver user interface requirements like Graphical User Interfaces, Screen and Interface mock-ups

•           Understanding interface/integration technologies and possessing a good understanding of customers’ needs so they can be translated into requirements

•           Collaborating with the project teams, business stakeholders, and governance bodies to support Pega systems design and development that meets business requirements

•           Must demonstrate understanding of industry standard Business Analysis Best Practices, to include gathering and entering requirements, flow design, UI design, data modeling, automated business policies, creating messages and notifications, and building reports

Education Requirements

•           Bachelor’s Degree in A Bachelor’ Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related discipline

•           Pega Systems’ Business Architect Certification

Work Experience Requirements

•           Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience with three (3) of the last five (5) years in leadership role, and 3-6 years of direct Business Analysis experience with Pega; an advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related discipline may be substituted for two years of experience

•           Strong understanding of Pega methodologies and SCRUM SDLC

•           Ability to convert business requirements into system architecture and design

•           Strong understanding of Business Process Management (BPM) and Case Management

•           Must have excellent communication skills - written and verbal - with a demonstrated ability to facilitate meetings between business and technical teams and elicit, document, analyze and verify requirements

•           Experience in support of agile development environments in a federal setting
