Business Development Director

 WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

·         10+ years of successful sales experience as a Business Development Manager within the federal marketplace. 

·         5+ years of proven business development experience in the Federal government that includes

o   Proven market capture experience

o   In hand Rolodex of relationships

o   Hands on experience of successfully using standard capture life-cycle best practices to win work

o   Proven experience capturing a portfolio of Federal contracts

o   A thorough understanding of Federal Bids, related terms and conditions and pricing mechanisms

·         High energy level, sense of urgency, decisiveness and ability to work well under pressure

·         Experience managing sales pipeline, forecasting, and closing deals

·         Strong facilitation and communication skills – both written and verbal

·         Proven record as a team player

·         Unquestionable integrity, credibility and character

·         Strong leadership, problem solving, and decision making abilities

·         Ability to interface and effectively negotiate with senior executives

·         Self-initiator with ability to work independently

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

·         Bachelor’s Degree, Advanced degree a plus
